On October 4, 2016, Duchity, a small town located in the southern part of Haiti has been struck by a terrible disaster.  The devastation has torn apart many homes, destroyed schools and crops, killed the live stocks of domesticated animals upon which so many families are dependent on, and caused many school-children to lose their school materials, leaving widespread damage in the impoverish town.

The mission of A Better Tomorrow, Inc. is to promote socio- economic development and support universal literacy efforts in the town of Duchity (Haiti). The devastations caused by Hurricane Matthews are too large to ignore. Thus, this organization serves as a response in order to secure a better future for the most vulnerable people living in Duchity.
